Baptism

As Christians, our calling is clear. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit."

Baptisms & Barbeque events are held twice a year at Pastor Ed and Lou's home in Rancho Cucamonga: one on Memorial Day and the other on Labor Day. Well over a hundred people come out each time to celebrate with the new believers from Hope IBF, Hope Again and South LA Christian Life as they get baptized.

These are times of joyous celebration and known to inspire emotional words of thanksgiving for all that God is doing in their lives and a true and sincerely excited expectation for what God is going to do.

It was chilly again this year in the morning but by baptism time the Lord provided plenty of warming sunshine. This year's event saw 10 new people baptized and there were over 100 people at the event. Take a look at the photos by clicking the link.

July 4, 2007 came and went as usual for Hope IBF. We celebrated Freedom Day with a Barbecue and two new Christians proclaimed their new faith in Christ and dedication to follow Him by being baptized by Pastor Ed in his pool. Take a look at the photos and join us next year if you missed this one.
