Baptism

As Christians, our calling is clear. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit."

Baptisms are held throughout the year with an annual event called Beach Fest. Held each summer down at Corona Del Mar, this event is co-sponsored by Hope IBF and Community Baptist Church.

Other, more intimate events are known to take place at the home of Senior Pastor Ed and Lou. These are times of joyous celebration and known to inspire emotional words of thanksgiving for all that God has done.

We got a break from the heat this year. No big splash in the pool this year. But what a great time it was as 9 new believers proclaimed their faith in Christ. Take a look at the photos.

The heat was incredible this year as everyone at Hope tried to stay cool in Pastor Ed's pool. Thank you Eric for barbecuing in those extreme temperatures. We all had a great time and two new believers proclaimed their faith in Christ and dedication to follow Him by being baptized by Pastor Ed in his pool. July 4, 2007 Barbecue and Baptism
July 4, 2007 came and went as usual for Hope IBF. We celebrated Freedom Day with a Barbecue and two new Christians proclaimed their new faith in Christ and dedication to follow Him by being baptized by Pastor Ed in his pool. Take a look at the photos and join us next year if you missed this one.
