Food and Compassion Ministries

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me'." Matthew 25:40

The following ministry events listed here are some of the ways God uses Hope to minister for those in need. However, before reviewing what God is doing through Hope we ask that you read Matthew 25:31-46.

Daily Brunch and Dinner
Daily feeding of the homeless in the community.

USDA Distribution
Every month the volunteer staff at Hope distribute 150-200 bags of groceries to families in the immediate Hollywood community.

Thanksgiving Dinner
This Thanksgiving day will see over 30 volunteers preparing and serving over 120 full Thanksgiving dinners to the homeless on the streets of Hollywood.

Congregational Distribution
Each Sunday there is plenty of food available for people in the congregation to take some things home.

Southern California Distribution
We now have nine distribution points distributing appox. 2 ½ tons of food per week from daily bread to meat and fresh fruit and vegetables. We have no idea how many individuals are being blessed but the Lord does and that is all that matters.

Volunteer Staffing
Anywhere from 30-50 people each and every week are needed to support this ministry. Click on this link to get more information.
